Art Scene: Mohamed Abla

Sticking in Egypt where I have discovered a thriving art community, let's take a quick look at the work of Mohamed Abla.

I love these family portraits, especially the first and the third that are mixed-media. The second image where only one of the people and one of the plants are in color is also a favorite of Abla's work. What's your take on these?
