I'm sure that by now you have heard of Nigerian/German singer Ayo. Even if you haven't heard her songs, you may have seen her on the Banana Republic Ad campaign. To be honest, I haven't blogged about her because I was still waiting to hear a song that really gripped me. Even though I had already listened to her album, I decided to give it another listen through this week and this song has definitely made it to my playlist!

I found Ayo through Afrobella in 2007 or 2008. Life is Real is my favorite song by her. I also really like Help is Coming. I wasn't aware of the Banana Republic ads though.
