Art Scene: Adebanji Alade

A friend of mine introduced me to the work of Nigerian/British artist Adebanji Alade a few days ago and I couldn't wait till today to be able to share his work with you. While I definitely love is paintings, I'm especially drawn to his sketches. There is something so pure and immediate about them, especially when he is on the bus or tube trying to get a much information about a subject before eventually going to work on the masterpiece.
