Art Scene: James Cudjoe

Ghanian painter James Cudjoe is slowing climbing the ranks as one of Africa's contemporary painters and from this collection of images, you can clearly see why. Born in the coastal city of Takoradi, Cudjoe's painting are heavily influenced by the relationship between his subject and the social environment, his work shows an incredible range of motion. Even when a subject is still as in the second image, you still feel just how alive this scene is.
