Art Scene: Leslie Lumeh

I recently discovered the work of Liberian painter, cartoonist, and illustrator Leslie Lumeh and I'm so glad I did. In addition to a wonderful collection of paintings, Lumeh directs the first art gallery - Art of the Heart Gallery - in Monrovia since 2003 and provides daily cartoons to the Liberian newspaper Daily Observer are really funny. It always strikes that warm and fuzzy place in my heart when I come across such amazing talent for my country.
