Wax Print via Madrid

The Spring 2010 collection of Spanish designer Juanjo Oliva caught my eye because of his use of wax print, but here is the deal...I'm constantly amazed at how designers like Oliva manage to continuously mold the wax print into something fresh and creative with each new collection. In the case of Oliva, his vision for the collection was inspired by 1950s couture and the American woman of that era. Add a big can of African creative inspiration via the fabric and you get a collection I would gladly wear on any given day!
