Sounds of Africa: Ashton Nyte

As you have seen over and over on this blog, there is so much more to Africa than what meets the eye. Yet, I still find myself constantly and happily amazed at all the diversity that comes out. A little while ago, I was at home listening to PRI's The World when I heard the sounds of South African musician Ashton Nyte. His David Bowie meets Johnny Cash sound is really dark, moody and amazing. I particular love songs A Little Low, Jennifer, and Window.
