I'm not one to jam out to string quartets, usually reserving such beats for when I'm in a "heady" mood or when I need some music playing in the background but don't want to be distracted by words. Of course all of that goes out the window with the Soweto String Quartet. Songs like Millenia instantly puts you in a happy mood and makes you want to get up and dance! I also love Victory from the Invictus soundtrack and the medley Kgabo Mokgatla. I always find it beautiful when one is able to take that is already established and put in their own personalities and heritage and turn it into something new and the Soweto String Quartet does that seamlessly.
