Art Scene: Restless City

I started this week with a feature on Andrew Dosunmu as a photographer, but today I want to switch to his role as a film director of the Sundance Selection Restless City. The movie is about Djibril, an African immigrant surviving in New York City and attempting to pursue his passion for music while falling in love with a "woman of the night." This Sundance selection has a bit of everything I love, a bit of Africa mixed with my favorite U.S. city, interesting characters all woven into an beautiful story! I can't wait to check it out.
