Tuesday's Design: Villa Filali

Just because one leaves home, certainly doesn't mean that you don't take along your native home decoration style and furnishing. This at least is the message from Villa Filali in Marrakesh. "Old" Europe is heavily played up in this villa with antique silk curtains, stoves, bed frames and so much more dissembled in Europe and re-assembled in Morocco! Newer Scandinavia designs also get involved in the mix along with traditional Morocco designs and patterns. You would think all this mixing up would provide a weird aesthetic, but on the contrary, it produces an elegant and unique decor set throughout the entire villa (literally from the gorgeous rooftop to the sunny patio).
