Vukani Fashion Awards is an annual event organized by the South African Fashion Designers Agency (SAFDA). Basically - the latest grads from fashion schools throughout the country. While African prints may still be the attention grabber in Westerner media, I'm glad to see that young designers in SA see beyond that (although you will see a cheetah print or two in the full gallery)!!
