'Fire on the Mountain'

As you can now tell, I'm more than slightly bias when it comes to the continent of Africa. While there's no denying that there are still so many problems in each of the countries throughout the continent, I for one, choose to focus on the positive. And of course one of the greatest things coming out of some many African countries is the music!!

A few months ago, I was watching TV in Sudan and this song came on during a commercial break and I totally fell in love with it. I was sure that it was a South African artist, but only because I was watching a South African station. It wasn't too long before I learned that the singer was actually Nigerian artist Asa. Her sound is just incredible and she really makes beautiful music!
