I always love finding that piece of art, whether painting or sculpture, etc., that grabs you at first glance and Mbongeni Buthelezi's work certainly did that for me!



This South African from Johannesburg makes his art with plastic. I know, I'm still scratching my head as I how I can turn that plastic bottle I have in the kitchen into something this stunning!

Using a medium that I can only imagine to be challenging, Buthelezi manages to show individuals with such depth of expression not only on their faces, but throughout their body!
