Sounds of Africa: Gabriel Teodros

I'm going to end this week with a dope beat by Ethiopian/Irish/Scottish via Seattle artist Gabriel Teodros (do i sense a potential fellow hater of the "where are you from" question??). As you can hear from this video, his beats have an amazing flow and his lyrics are very meaningful and thought-provoking. He is currently mixing traditional Ethiopian music with hip hop and is headed to Ethiopia in a few months with the Arba Minch Collective - a group of aimed at building a creative bridge between Ethiopians living abroad and those in Ethiopia.
