Tuesday's Design: Modern in Carthage

This house near Carthage, Tunisia really caught my attention as I was being pulled into the vortex that is Marie Claire Maison (it took me forever to pull myself out). I love how the outside looks like a traditional home you could find in Tunisia with the style of the entrance, blocks that look like they have been on that patio since the days of the Roman Empire, and a simple fountain. Yet, behind these doors lays a space so clean and white and modern that I would definitely be taking a step back outside just to make sure I was in the right house. I just love the contrast!
