Sometimes even I am surprised at the things that grab my attention! This painting by Senegalese artist
Ibou Ndoye is definitely among such things. As one point, I would have dismissed it as too "child-like" for my personal taste, but there is something about the painting being in blacks, whites, and grays that makes it feel so mature to me. I love the wall of pictures and seeing all these things this individual is trying to balance. It almost seems like a portrait of this person's life.

I think it is representing the balancing act of life. Sometimes the more child like the more I love it, it somehow says that the person hasn't lost that bit of innocence.
