As I plan another trip this year (trying to seal in at least one more new country for 2010), I was seriously plotting away at how I could squeeze in a trip to Lamu - also known as my favorite place. While I was unable to maneuver my budget to cooperate, this lovely private home on the island helped me hold on to my fantasies of one day returning. I absolutely love the touches of red everywhere....
