On Travel: Manila, Philippines

Hi folks and very sleepy greetings from Manila, Philippines! I'm practically delirious right now due to the psycho jetlag that comes along with going 12 hours ahead of my usual day-to-day life, but I'm totally excited to be here. It's my first trip to anywhere Asia, so this is a whole new experience for me.

While I'm required to crawl into bed this very second, I wanted to share this first real view of Manila (via my hotel room this morning) with you! I arrived around 10pm and couldn't really see anything from the car ride over to the hotel. When I opened my curtains this morning, I was pleased to find this pretty combination of urban towers and greenery all around.
