Rija Randrianasolo
I was so captured by the work of Malagasy/French Rija Randrianansolo that I just had to share it with you! Born and raised in France to Malagasy parents, Randrianansolo grew up with strong connections to the land of his parents and captured these amazing images throughout various trips to Madagascar.
As I am especially fond of black and white images, I love that the so much of Randrianasolo's work is in this style. I find that it leaves a little more room to the imagination and adds a certain tone to the pictures. That said, his work in color is also fantastic!
I especially love the lighting in both the amphitheater shot and this last shot of the boys playing soccer. What do you think of his work?
