AFW SS 2010/2011

Now that you are all warmed up with Abigail Betz's collection, let's move on my favorite pieces from the rest of the crowd. First, these fiery pieces by Bunmi Koko. I love the red dress (something every woman) and I particularly love the movement of the dress that's given a lot of definition by the ridiculously awesome belt. The cream, orange, yellow, gold, black number has my name written all over it! I'm not sure about the hip wings on the mega shoulder poof, but otherwise I'm in!

I'm definitely not a short shorts wearing kinda gal, but I'm loving how fun these look by Ituen Basi. The prints are great and the clothes look perfect for the 100 degrees madness that is griping D.C.

These flowy dresses by Kluk CGDT would be perfect in my closet to be worn once the sun sets and it's time to enjoy a nice drink on a rooftop bar.

From flow-y to lace-y, I love these Boudoir D'huitres tops. At first I was not sure about the red adult bib, but obviously they make the entire thing come together. The white top could easily be coupled with a pencil skirt for work and the black lace version get you out at night.

Finally there is the loveliness that is David Thale. I absolutely love the colorful print and even though I have no idea where I would rock such a pouffy skirt, I still love the. While I'm not a believer in the "whoops I left my pants at home" that seems to be in vogue right now, I'm so lovely the shimmery dress. It's one of those dresses that would still look hot at the end of the night when you have a dude's blazer wrapped around you to make you feel a little less naked than when you walked out the door sans pants.

The red bib does it for me completely both outfits.
